Lets go back to a school system where if you did well you got a gold star and if you were bad you got the strap or cane. And you learned how to manage a bully and grow some resilience to life and not be conditioned to become an over-educated and under-trained, snowflake, safe-spaced, sexually neurotic, drugged-up, suicide-prone youth of today. Its not their fault, it’s the education system that has lost the plot.

Psychology is the en vogue weapon for modern psychopaths, and that has to begin young, since our system ultimately is a breeding and grooming ground for psychopaths. To understand this, it would be helpful to know my entire philosophy in the context of humanity and the world as we know it(we as in, fellow humans, although I mostly feel like an alien here), reduces to something like:

"humanity is the larval form of something malevolently Lovecraftian as a function of DNA"

I'm quite delighted and relieved to see more and more psychologists coming out and highlighting the potential harms that frameworks like SEL can bring into schools when universally applied in the way it has been.

Thank you for presenting the limits of integrating mental health into the school system.
